Nymphaea Pink Panther

Nymphaea Pink Panther entzieht sich fast jeder Farbbeschreibung. Am ehesten trifft es ein intensives Fuchsienpink, überhaucht von einem bischofsvioletten Ton. Diese außergewöhnliche Farbwirkung war der Grund, warum wir die Sorte erstmals 2023 in unser Sortiment aufgenommen haben – sie fällt sofort auf und bleibt im Gedächtnis.

Es handelt sich um eine Kreuzung aus tropischer und winterharter Seerose, die sich bei uns jedoch als durchweg winterhart erwiesen hat. Ergänzt wird die Blütenwirkung durch attraktiv marmoriertes Laub, das auch außerhalb der Hauptblüte für Struktur sorgt.

Nymphaea Bangkok Pink Panther ist eine besondere Hybride von Jakkaphong Sungnam und wurde dreimal in Folge beim Wettbewerb der International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society ausgezeichnet – ein klares Qualitätsmerkmal. Sie gedeiht optimal bei

Wasserständen von etwa 30–60 cm und eignet sich für Teiche, in denen moderne Farbe und stabile Winterhärte gefragt sind.

Nymphaea Pink Panther is almost impossible to describe in colour. The closest match is an intense fuchsia pink, touched with a bishop’s violet hue. This remarkable colouring is why we introduced the cultivar to our range for the first time in 2023—it is instantly eye-catching and memorable.

The plant is a cross between a tropical and a hardy water lily, yet under our conditions it has proven to be fully winter hardy. Its appeal is further enhanced by attractively marbled foliage, providing visual interest even outside peak flowering.

Nymphaea Bangkok Pink Panther is an exceptional hybrid by Jakkaphong Sungnam and has won awards three years in a row at the competition of the International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society. It performs best at water depths of approximately 30–60 cm, making it ideal for ponds seeking modern colour impact combined with reliable hardiness.
