Nelumbo ‘Polaris’ ist eine Lotossorte chinesischer Herkunft mit klarer, präziser Wirkung.
Die cremeweißen Blüten sind spitz zulaufend, die Blütenblätter leicht eingerollt und sauber gezeichnet. Im Zentrum setzt der lebendig gelb gefärbte Blütenstempel einen deutlichen, ruhigen Kontrast.

Diese Sorte zeichnet sich durch eine außergewöhnlich hohe Blühfreude aus. Bei geeigneter Kultur erscheinen zahlreiche Blüten über die Saison hinweg, gleichmäßig verteilt und gut sichtbar über dem Laub.

Mit einer Endhöhe von etwa 40 cm bleibt ‘Polaris’ kompakt und eignet sich hervorragend für die Kübelkultur.

Empfohlen werden Pflanzgefäße ab 30 Litern Volumen, in denen sich die Pflanzen stabil entwickeln und ihre volle Blühleistung zeigen.

Ein kleiner, äußerst blühfreudiger Lotos mit klarer Formensprache – konzentriert, ausgewogen und sehr präsent.

Nelumbo ‘Polaris’

Nelumbo ‘Polaris’ is a lotus variety of Chinese origin with a clean and well-defined appearance.

Its cream-white flowers are pointed, with slightly rolled petals, creating a precise and elegant structure. The bright yellow receptacle forms a clear and lively contrast at the center of the bloom.

This variety is known for its exceptional flowering performance, producing numerous blooms consistently throughout the season, well displayed above the foliage.

Reaching a height of around 40 cm, ‘Polaris’ remains compact and is ideally suited for container cultivation.

Planting containers with a minimum volume of 30 liters are recommended to ensure stable growth and full flowering potential.

Nelumbo Polaris is of Chinese descent. Its flowers are creamy white, pointed and with slightly curled petals. The pistil is vividly colored yellow.

As can already be seen in the pictures, Polaris is really extremely floriferous. The plants need vessels with a capacity of 30 liters or more. Then they develop into true gemstones with a height of approx. 40 cm.
