Nelumbo ‘Olympic Lotus’ ist eine mittelgroße Lotossorte mit kräftigem Wuchs und stark gefüllten, pinkfarbenen Blüten. Die Blüten wirken dicht und voluminös und behalten ihre Präsenz über viele Stunden.

Ein besonderes Merkmal ist die lange Sichtbarkeit der Blüten: Durch die intensive Füllung schließen sie sich nachts kaum, sodass sie auch abends noch voll zur Geltung kommen.

Die Pflanzen erreichen eine Höhe von etwa 70 cm und fühlen sich in Gefäßen ab 45 Litern Volumen sehr wohl. Bei guter Versorgung zeigt ‘Olympic Lotus’ eine lange Blühdauer und bringt seine Blüten bis spät in den Herbst zuverlässig hervor.

Nelumbo ‘Olympic Lotus’ is a medium-sized lotus cultivar with vigorous growth and densely double pink flowers. The blooms appear full and substantial, maintaining strong visual presence for extended periods.

A key feature is the extended display of the flowers: due to their heavy petal density, the blooms hardly close at night, remaining attractive even in the evening.

Plants reach a height of around 70 cm and perform best in containers with a minimum volume of 45 liters. With proper care, ‘Olympic Lotus’ offers a long flowering season, continuing well into late autumn.
