Nelumbo Moling Qiu Se ist eine außergewöhnliche gelbe Lotossorte, die wir aus China erhalten haben und die selbst unter gelben Lotosblumen eine absolute Rarität darstellt. Das Besondere an dieser Sorte:

Das Gelb der Blüte verblasst im Alter nicht – ein Merkmal, das bei nahezu allen anderen gelben Lotosformen typisch ist, hier jedoch vollständig fehlt.

Genau diese dauerhafte Farbintensität macht Nelumbo Moling Qiu Se zu einer echten Liebhaberpflanze und zu einer Sorte von hohem züchterischem Wert. Wir werden diesen Lotos künftig gezielt in unserem Zuchtprogramm einsetzen, in der Hoffnung, dieses seltene Merkmal weiterzugeben.

Auch gärtnerisch überzeugt die Sorte: Nelumbo Moling Qiu Se ist robust, zuverlässig blühend und zeigt eine sehr gute Winterhärte. Für eine stabile Entwicklung empfiehlt sich ein Pflanzgefäß ab 45 Litern Volumen, in dem sich die Pflanze kraftvoll entfalten kann.

Ein Lotos für Kenner – selten, stabil und mit einem Merkmal, das es so kaum ein zweites Mal gibt.

Nelumbo Moling Qiu Se is an exceptional yellow lotus variety originating from China and stands out even among yellow lotuses as a true rarity. Its most remarkable feature is that the yellow flower color does not fade with age, unlike nearly all other yellow lotus varieties.

This persistent color intensity makes Moling Qiu Se a collector’s lotus and a cultivar of significant breeding value. We plan to use this variety in our future breeding work, hoping to pass on this rare and highly desirable trait.

From a cultivation standpoint, this lotus is also highly convincing. Nelumbo Moling Qiu Se is robust, reliably flowering, and shows excellent winter hardiness. For optimal growth, a container with a minimum volume of 45 liters is recommended.
